les dialogues ;
-
La deuxième séquence, à dominante « écrite »,
présente un document reprenant la même
thématique que le contenu du dialogue.
Ces deux séquences permettent d’acquérir un
bagage lexical de 45 à 50 mots considérés comme
actifs.
-
La troisième séquence de chaque dossier permet
de travailler les compétences de compréhension
et de production écrites et orales. Les supports
utilisés pour l compréhension reprennent les
points grammaticaux et lexicaux des deux
premières séquences comme actifs.
-
Cette partie comporte également des exercices
de phonétique et de graphie.
-

patterns. The students can examine in systematic
method more complex grammatical contexts. The

-
08203 Spoken English (2)
The aim of a Spoken English course twofold: it is to enable
the students to achieve fluency in seeking the
language which entails the ability of choosing
correct and proper expressions for any
situational context they may find themselves in,
to teach them to recognize and understand
different varieties of English produced by
native and non-native speakers.
The members of this Committee believe that even
hundreds of hours of class drills will not
substitute for practical, real-life training. It
is therefore imperative that the English
Department imposes an “English Only Spoken Here”
rule on students and members of staff alike in
all and any communications between the tow
groups. from the moment the student comes to the
Department the only language he would be able to
communicate in should be English; thus forcing
him to utilize the knowledge he has come with
and any thing he will subsequently learn in
class. Regular listening to English language
broadcasts should be strongly encouraged. It is
even suggested that a separate reading listening
room be organized where student and teachers
come to read the press and listen to the radio.
To make things easier, previous days most
interesting features could be tape-recorded thus
becoming available at any time there after.
