Every year, Garyounis University accepts a great number of students to study in its various academic departments according to the rules and conditions that have been established by the General People's Committee. The People's Committee of the university organizes and administers the educational process in agreement with the General People's Committee of Higher Education.
Garyounis University provides two systems of study administered according to the rules of study and examinations for each faculty. The two systems are: (1) yearly courses; and (2) semester courses.
A detailed report on the various activities of the faculties, health centres, offices and administration during the academic year 2004-2005 will follow.
